The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has released the official guidelines for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME Aptitude Test, scheduled to hold from Monday, July 27 to Friday, July 31, 2026.

Candidates are advised to read these instructions carefully as non-compliance may result in disqualification. Here's everything you need to know.

⚠️ CRITICAL RULES FOR CANDIDATES

Before the Exam

  • Mandatory Mock Examination – Participation is compulsory. Use the same device and environment you'll use for the main exam. Available until July 25, 2026.

  • Dress appropriately – Your face and ears must remain fully visible. No masks, caps, headphones, earbuds, wristwatches, bracelets, or smart glasses.

  • Lighting – Ensure your environment is well-lit for clear identification.

  • Internet & Power – You are solely responsible for stable internet and uninterrupted electricity. UNILAG is not liable for power or network failures.

During the Exam

  • No other persons – Your exam area must be completely isolated. Unauthorised presence = disqualification.

  • No speaking or reading aloud – Remain silent throughout.

  • Stay in camera view – You must remain seated and visible at all times.

  • No external devices – Mobile phones, tablets, external webcams, HDMI displays, and virtual cameras are prohibited.

  • Report technical issues immediately – Use the "Need Help? " feature on the platform. Failure to report promptly may affect investigations.


How to Access the Examination

You can access the test through any of these channels:

  1. UNILAG Application Portal – Click the "Go to WebTest" button.

  2. Official Exam Email – Click "Click Here to Take Exam".

  3. Direct Link – Visit https://unilag.proctee.webtest.ng and log in with:

    • Username: UTME Registration Number

    • Password: Surname (all lowercase)


Step-by-Step Login Process

Step 1: Log in and click "Take Exam" to access instructions and download the Safe Examination Browser (SEB) for your OS.

Step 2: Grant all required permissions – failure to do so may block exam access.

Step 3: After installation, return and click "Click here to take your exam" to launch.


⚡ IMPORTANT: Mock Exam Mandatory

The Mock Examination is not optional. It is designed to:

  • Verify device compatibility

  • Test webcam and microphone functionality

  • Check internet connectivity

  • Confirm overall system readiness

Deadline: Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 11:59 PM
No extra fee required.

Note: Passing the mock exam does not guarantee success in the main exam if you change your device, software, or internet connection afterward.

The following constitute examination misconduct and may result in cancellation, withdrawal, or disciplinary action:

  • Impersonation

  • Unauthorised assistance or communication

  • Use of prohibited devices

  • Multiple logins

  • Presence of unauthorised persons

  • Obstruction of webcam or audio recording
