LASU Announces Admission Into School of Basic and Advanced Studies (JUPEB)

ADVERTISEMENT FOR ADMISSION INTO LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF BASIC AND ADVANCED STUDIES [JUPEB PROGRAMME] FOR 2025/2026 CALENDAR YEAR


PREAMBLE

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Lagos State University School of Basic and Advanced Studies [JUPEB Programme] which shall commence in July 2025.

The Programme shall run for one Academic Session beginning from September 2025 to August 2026. It is an intensive programme to prepare exceptionally brilliant candidates for admission into the 200 level degree programmes offered by JUPEB AFFILIATED UNIVERSITIES.

The Programme is located at the Lagos State University School of Basic and Advanced Studies Campus, ASCON Road, Topo, Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria.


2.0 ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Five (5) Ordinary Level Credits to include English Language.

For candidates who intend to study courses in Medicine/ Dentistry/ Nursing/ Pharmacology, Agricultural Science, Science, Education, Social Sciences, Management Sciences and Engineering, a credit pass in Mathematics is compulsory.

Students who meet the admission requirements will be invited for a written qualifying examination.

Students invited for qualifying examination should come along with the following items;


National Identification Number (NIN) Slip

Birth Certificate

O’ Level Result (Awaiting Result is not accepted)

One Passport Photograph

Arrangement of Names on NIN, Birth Certificate,

O’ Level Result must be the same.

Successful candidates will be required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of Thirty Thousand Naira (N30,000.00) only.
